bitonti
Assume they want to trade down more than anything - but if no trade down - These 3 players are, in my opinion, the JETS top feasible targets at 17, listed in order of rank: Mark Sanchez QB USC http://www.nfl.com/videos?videoId=09000d5d80f61576 Knowshon Moreno RB Georgia http://www.nfl.com/videos?videoId=09000d5d80f61703 Brandon Pettigrew TE Okla St http://www.nfl.com/videos?videoId=09000d5d80f6144f possible NYJ targets who probably won't be on the board at 17: WR Jeremy Maclin Missouri, WR Michael Crabtree Texas Tech, QB Matthew Stafford Georgia, RB Beanie Wells Ohio State, DE Robert Ayers Tennessee. other realistic NYJ possibilites at 17: QB Josh Freeman Kansas St, WR Percy Harvin Florida, WR Kenny Britt Rutgers, DE Jarron Gilbert San Jose St, DE Tyson Jackson LSU, LB Connor Barwin Cincinnati, CB Darius Butler UConn, CB Alphonso Smith Wake Forest. You have Britt rated higher than Nicks? Or is there a reason you think the Jets would prefer Britt-maybe more speed/less physically like Keller? But also kinda like TO or Marques Colston, i.e. attitude problems.

I hope you are wrong. I wouldnt mind Knowshon, but I would puke if we took Sanchez. Pettigrew is interesting. I would prefer us not going TE that high again, but I could see the logic. I just think there is a lot of TE talent in this draft and its not necessary to select one in the first round. Tyson Jackson and Jarron Gilbert are the 2 most interesting prospects IMO. There is a high price for 3-4 DE's out there and if you can land one in the middle of the first, you do it...especially considering Kenyon Coleman is mediocre and Ellis is getting old. I agree with you %100 percent on every word. Especially about "I wouldn’t mind Knowshon, but I would puke if we took Sanchez." Sanchez is over rated. I think that Matt Leinart was far better coming out. I said back then that Leinart would be a bust. He is. Sanchez will be worse. His attitude is worse then Leinart. Did anyone notice how he acted at the combine when he was hanging out with the other QB's. That was the same way Leinart acted. Put aside Sanchez and Leinart come from the same program. If Sanchez came out that year he would have been a fifth or sixth round pick. Why do we want this years offensive version of Gholston?
