Cyberjet
...for the Jet Draft is that they trade down with other teams to get more picks. Eg. Jets #17 for Phili's #28, their 2nd (#53) and 5th (#149). This will allow them more flexibility. My preference then would be RB or CB at #28 followed by Loadholt or Meredith (OT) at #52 and Gilbert (DT) at (#53). If Gilbert is 1st round talent then get him at #28. Then look at WR, TE. I believe the Jets will not draft a QB Obviously it takes two to tango. Just wishin'.
bitonti
I think it's pretty safe to assume the Jets front office shares that hope. If they can drop 10 or so spots, WR becomes less of a reach.

Absolutely. I think that Tanny will beon the phone trying to trade back if their guy isnt there at 17.

It would be nice to see them begin to get back to the practice of hoarding draft picks.
slats
Who would Philly want to move up that far? I'm thinking the Jets'll have opportunities to trade if Sanchez manages to fall to #17, especially if Detroit passes on Stafford at #1. Right after the Jets would be three teams who could all want a QB - Chicago, Tampa, and Detroit - with Minnesota not far behind. Any one of them could be looking to move up ahead of the others. Even Chicago, just to stop us from trading with one of their division rivals. Don't really know who else would drop that the Jets would be in such a position. HOZ THE JET
PHILLY WILL NEVER TRADE UP THAT ORGANAZATION IS TOO CHEAP BUT THEY NEED A RB AND A TE AND IT IS PLENTY AVAILABLE AT THAT POSITION FOR THEM TO STAND PAT,I CAN SEE US TRADING DOWN TO A TEAM THAT WANTS A QB LIKE CHICAGO AND DETROIT THOUGH.
