SJ Reviews..'Knowing'..Sci-fier better than mainstream media is saying IMHO (3 1/2)

Knowing is a sci-fi/mystery/quasi religious flick that IMHO better than many are saying.

Its religious overtones and plot wrapup is turning off some of the liberal media who relish in thier agnostic belief and dont want anything saying differnt. Dont get me wroong, I dont care what one belives, but art is art, and just because there is some overtones that may go against what you believe scientifically or religiusly rubs me wrong way.

So no spoilers, but main plot is a astrophysisct , Cage, finds a 50 year old letter that seemingly has predicted all major disasters on Earth in last 50 years..The list has 3 more dates on it and hence the mystery/sci fi fun starts.

Its hard to tell much more so as not to spoil, but he has lost faith since his wife died i na fire afew years back, ;leaving him to raise his young son alone.

So beliefs, love, doubt, are all examined while also telling a pretty fun and cool tale..

Had a chance to watch a bootleg version of it online. Can say that I did enjoy watching it. The ending was a little out there..but the story was intriguing and the CGI was great, (including the scenes with the plane and subway train).

The only movie I'm looking forward to now in the next coming months is the Star Trek movie.

the special effect scenes are crazy and when that subway train went all out of wack that was awesome watching people get smashed by it 2 thumbs up

no,,i originally said i thought this movie wa sgetting lower reviews tahn warranted due to some reviewers bias toward implying anything religion and a God..
