Jetfan13
he is 37, a perfect fit By Herald Wire Services Thursday, April 2, 2009 - (McGinest would love to return to Foxboro and finish his career where it started. The former Patriots [team stats] linebacker hinted at that scenario during an online chat last night with fans on NFL.com. The 37-year-old McGinest has played 15 seasons including the past three with the Cleveland Browns. He is currently a free agent and apparently not ready to retire. McGinest put the Pats on a short list of teams he would play for.

Thai Jet
They haven't said they will take him back. I really wish he hadn't said this though. He's one of my favorite players of all time and really would like to see him end his career in a Patriots uniform but I also know that he is done. Isn't it amazing how people don't actually READ articles ? I can't see NE taking him back unless it's just so he can retire as a Pat.

A 37 year old Willie McGinest is better than Tully Banta-Cain.
