We'll be a good team next year IMO, much better than people think. We don't need great play from the QB position and people seem to forget we at least have a top running game to fall back on. Our offense is not going to be as bad as some make out, not with that offensive line in place. Our defense will be top 10 and we'll make the playoffs. With Jay Cutler and w/o whoever we draft in the 1st and 3rd rds and w/o David Harris we go from bottom feeders to SB contenders. Take it easy man, Cutler woulda been nice, but he aint that good. Irish Jet
we lose to pats twice and split with jills and phins 4 losses already dream on Oh, now I'm convinced! You have no idea, to be honest neither do I so it's a ridiculous arguement, I'm just trying to be optimistic. It's too hard to make predictions at this point, in the NFL anything really can happen. Some issues: -We have no idea how good or bad Kellen/Ratliff will be. -We have no idea how well this VERY talented will actually perform on the field. -We have no idea how much guys like Gholston, Keller, Draft pick etc. will develop/improve. -We have no idea how the issues other teams face, including Miami, Buffalo and The Pats will play out. Stop with the depressive suicide type stuff. Right now anything could still happen. For now quit with the ridiculous prophetic nonsense and hope that the team answers the questions it currently faces.

Whose playin Suicide , i have Bama to fall back on and like the Falcons yes i like matty ice...sue me D will be improved O not so much......there is a reason why we do not win Give Da Bears credit, will be a steal and Broncos will fight it out for last place with Chefs
gangreenman
watch Da Bears win Div easily 1 - The Bears were in a better position to make the trade than us. They had a QB to offer that has played more than 7 games in his career and they dont play in the AFC. For us to make that trade we would've had to given up more than Chicago because we ARE in the AFC, and we also don't have an experienced QB to offer, which they wanted, so we woulda had to give up something else, which the Bears didn't. 2 - The Bears may win their division easily. Their division also isnt our division, and if I were a betting man, I'd say theyd have a much tougher time winning their division if they played in the AFCE. So, just because the trade makes them probable division winners, doesn't mean it would've done the same for us.

Seriously, in nearly every thread both before and after the Cutler deal played out you've been talking about the '09 season as though you know what's going to happen. Since you're such an expert with this stuff feel free to bump some of your predictions from last year that said the Dolphins would win the AFC East, that Joe Flacco would lead the Ravens to the AFC Championship game, That the Falcons would make the playoffs and of course that the Arizona Cardinals would play in the SB. My point, stop spouting BS about the 2009/2010 NFL season and how it's going to play out in early April, before the ****ing draft too. Nobody knows what will happen this season, with the Jets or anyone else.

Lil Bit Special
Orton is a JAG Denver will fight it out with chefs for last place Whether you think he is or not, he has 2 full seasons as a starting QB, something neither of our guys have. Whether Denver fights it out for last isnt the issue. The issue is whether the Jets could have gotten Cutler with the same picks and either Clemens or Ratliff. And they couldnt. Clemens and Ratliff arent worth sh!t. Orton has some value.

The guy was a 3rd stringer for 2 years who had nice stats in preseason against mediocre competition. He is worthless until he does something in the NFL. Lil Bit Special
we could have given them a defensive starter And what do they do at QB? They needed a QB in return to take over their offense now. And Simms wasnt the answer they were looking for. Probably only way we could have gotten him was 3 #1's plus D starter plus #2nd or #3rd rd. pick.
