Gainzo
With the regular season winding down (most teams have 5 games remaining) the fight is on for playoff position. Here are the current standings: Bruins: 108 points Caps: 101 points Devils: 98 points Flyers: 92 points Pens: 92 Points Hurricanes: 91 points Rangers: 89 points Habs: 88 points -------------------- Panthers: 87 points Sabres: 83 points The top 3 are all set but it will be interesting to see how 4-8 shake out. Otter
I'd like to see the Rangers get matched up with the Devils. I think that's their best chance to advance.

Otter
That would be a great series. I love the NHL playoffs. Yeah. I don't watch alot games in the regular season, but when it comes playoff time I try to watch as much as I can. I lose alot of sleep for a couple of months. CrazyCarl40
Pens-Flyers would be interesting. No one wants to face the Pens right now though.
Sharrow
Here's the remaining games between the teams fighting for a spot: Pittsburgh @ Carolina - Sat, April 4 Pittsburgh @ Florida - Sun, April 5 Montreal @ Rangers - Tue, Apriil 7 Florida @ Philadelphia - Tue, April 7 Philadelphia @ Rangers - Thu, April 9 Buffalo @ Carolina - Thu, April 9 If the Pens pick up both wins over the weekend, they're going to be in very good shape. Bugg
Pens-Flyers would be interesting. No one wants to face the Pens right now though. Especially since Boy Gary has ordered the refs to give them 5 extra power plays every game. The Rangers game was a freaking joke.
The Gun Of Bavaria
Especially since Boy Gary has ordered the refs to give them 5 extra power plays every game. The Rangers game was a freaking joke. If Cindy and the Pens ever come to a screeching halt, Bettman's head will go up their asses. The amount of man love for the Pens from Bettman and the NHL is appaling. You have countless players in this league who are not only exceptional, but could easily be a well-respected figurehead of this league. The NHL doesn't care. They have annointed Crosby as the next great one and are looking to exploit every ounce of PR out of the guy and the Pens that they can. It's pathetic. The Wings win the Presidents' Trophy & the Stanley Cup last year and you hear or see nothing about it. Every NHL commercial on TV......shots of Crosby and the Penguins scoring goals on the Wings during the finals. Hilarious F Bettman.
Thai Jet
The underachieving Sabres are done. Yet that uninspiring douchebag Lindy Ruff will be be back next year . He must have nude pictures of Darcy Reiger doing some guy. How else does this loser keep his job year after year ?
Thai Jet
Rangers sealed the Sabres fate tonite with a 3-1 win over Montreal. Former Sabre Chris Drury with 2 goals. Montreal looked like they were just going thru the motions. Panthers also won.
yisman
Islanders suck. 26-47-9 season. 61 points. Today they're getting routed by a Boston team that doesn't even care about the game and is resting guys. this team is one of the worst teams I have ever seen. They ended the season like this: 5-4 loss at Carolina 5-2 loss at Ottawa 6-2 loss at home against Minnesota (when does Minnesota ever score more than 4 goals? ) 2-0 win in Detroit (Red Wings have a habit of losing to horrible teams) 4-3 loss at home to Philadelphia 5-3 loss at Washington 5-1 loss at home to the pathetic Canadiens 3-1 win at home over awful Tampa Bay 9-0 loss at Carolina (!!!!!!!!!) 6-1 loss at Pittsburgh Huge blowout loss at home against a Boston team that didn't care So they lost 9 of their last 11, including some of the most embarrassing losses of the season by any team.
