I can see the Jets trading for or signing a serviceable vet. If for nothing else, competition. Byron Leftwich could be an option, or along those lines IMO.

Will not happen... I think they actually like Clemens/Ratliff heading into 09'... Cutler was just something you had to look into...

Were you sold on Tom Brady's jock strap holding ability?

Its a mix of gut feeling and the fact that he is built like a QB and can throw the ball well.

Not our fault you never applied your great football talent... lol

Ratliff has the tools... and has shown promise whenever given the chance to... both him and Clemens have a good shot at being decent starters next year...

whats the point for us to bring in an average qb just to compete? if we want that type of qb wed just draft freeman anyway which could be very possible.

Please god no, Campbell blows! I would rather go with what we have, there is zero difference at this point. No way Campbell makes the Jets better.

Clemens will be the starter because we will not want to open the season with a QB that has 0 starts under his belt.

As much as I've talked **** about how I hate KC, we never really have seen him play with a good O-Line in the regular season. It doesn't look like we're getting another QB, and KC said he feels pretty confident and motivated now. I'd be the last one to say this, but let's take another chance.

Campbell isn't that good.

Campbell, however, is 3X better than CLemens.
