Jetsfan.com
Now that Jay Cutler is officially off the market, Jets fans can debate the merits of standing pat with their own guys versus drafting a promising college prospect. PETROCK
The Jets will not draft a QB - period. If they can I think they will. I don't see them going into training camp with just Clemens and Ratliff.
#27TheDominator
If they can I think they will. I don't see them going into training camp with just Clemens and Ratliff. They have Ainge too. IMO it doesn't make sense to draft another QB. They have 3 question marks already. Those guys could be good or could just suck. There is no sense adding another question mark. This is the same offensive staff, so it's not likely that they will just be sour on these guys. The only way it makes sense to me is if they are convinced that one of this year's class is the real deal and in that case it's almost certainly one of the big 3. Wouldn't drafting Rhett Bomar just be like having another Ainge in camp?
TNJet
Will a rookie qb be better than Clemens , Ratliff, or Ainge next season?? Heck, no, just accept that we're gonna have to go with them atleast this year. A first rnd qb at 17 is a wasted pick. Get wr,or RB.

I agree, I don't think any rookie QB in this draft can come in and do better than what we already have. It's down to our 3 amigos.
Thai Jet
I'd go with what we have. I think either KC or The Rat can handle what we're trying to do on offense. Next year will be a great year for QB's coming out of college. Good, quality QB's and plenty of them. Hopefully that won't make any difference to us. . Thai Jet
Will a rookie qb be better than Clemens , Ratliff, or Ainge next season?? Heck, no, just accept that we're gonna have to go with them at least this year. A first rnd qb at 17 is a wasted pick. Get wr,or RB. Agreed , Let's pick up a decent WR at 17. Drafting Freeman at 17 would be a reach.
Stonehands
If Erik Ainge were in this draft he would be a second or third round pick. He is better than Bomar and probably not too far behind Freeman. Taking a QB other than Stafford or Sanchez would be stupid.
