lancemehl
OH my G-D a LM thread, run!!!! lol seriously, noone is thinking RB round two. Yes, I like Caulcrick because I think he MAY be a good player and at the very least, a punch it in the endzone specialists, special teams guys(250 LB RB/FB are usually pretty good at that(Sowell)), and backup FB, he has a roster spot to me, BUT, is noone thinking that TJ just had his best season he will ever have and we have noone to replace him. Wouldn't having a great young O-line(except Faneca, which we should also address his backup in high rounds next year) and nobody to run behind it a waste. I really think we are overrating Thomas Jones, our MVP last year, but one that WILL regress exponentially from here on.Not to mention whine about a contract. I say the draft goes: 1-WR 2-RB 3-NT 4-WR 5-TE who has blocking in his game 6-RB 7-OG or something like that.feel me, Villian, feel me,blackout........lol

Jetkid94
what about a LB, CB, S, and DE???? I say this... 1. WR 2. LB 3. CB 4A. S 4B. RB 6. DE 7. OL or 1.WR 2.DE 3.LB 4.CB 4B.S, unless rashad jennings RB is available 6.RB(unless we get jennings then we get S here) 7. OL
lancemehl
we need to get a DE somewhere in the draft peferably 2nd round I agree, only if, when Jenkins is out, we go automatically to the 4-3. 3-4 ONLY with Jenkins, and he takes a lot of breaks!!!!!Excuse me, let's try Howard Green, the 30 year old 320 pounder, I've never heard of, but he deserves a shot, but, really,Howard Green. NO POUHA!!! say it with me, NO POUHA!!!!!! I will concur and go DE, but we NEED a backup NT who doesn't get blown on his a$$ by a gust of wind!! I think we are good at DE: Devito-showed a lot of upside last year Ellis- of course B Thomas- in a 4-3 set Gholston-if he can play football ^^^^dito BT Coleman- held his own in 3-4 Pace- can get in the stance in the 4-3 with also DT: Jenkins, who plays less than he sits(when the other team has the ball, running situations or passing) Howard Green- "The 30-year-old Green will likely serve as a backup to nose tackle Kris Jenkins. He had one sack and 21 tackles in 13 games with the Seahawks last season. Green was a sixth-round pick out of LSU by Houston in 2002, and has 55 tackles in 37 games. He has also played for New Orleans, and was out of football for a season before signing with Seattle in 2007." Sounds solid. that's it!

OL Props on sticking with the Isles, you must have been around in the early 80's, me too and i was cursed by Trottier,Bossy,Nystrom,Billy Smith,Kelly Hrudy,Suttter Bro's, Potvin, Giles, and the rest, what a team....... BUT back to football, sorry, gang: We're stocked on Defense. ILB, we have Harris and Scott, behind them Trusnik, OLB, Pace,B Thomas,Gholston DE-Ellis,Gholston?,Coleman,Devito(who i love) and I explained the DE vs NT up there, we NEED a NT to replace 50% Jenkins.OR NO 3-4 when he's taking his naps. DB's is something we REALLY don't need!!!!! CB-Lito,Revis,Lowery S-Rhodes,Leonhard,Smith,Elam These are salary cap days, you can't have 3 great players everywhere. Now look at offense: No QB,yet RB- LEON-a guy i think can carry the load, but the rest of the world doesn't care that he's the same size as Barry Sanders and Warrick Dunn and won't be on Punt Return duty anymore. So he will get 10-15 carries a game tops, this is still schotty, remember. TJ--and a guy who I feel has Maxed out and we will be shocked at the dropoff in his production this year, and considering the fact that we have a tremendous young line now, we need to get a Faneca replacement, soon and a young RB to go with it. A monster young O-line with a third down specialist and a downhill over 30 average to good back don't mix.Stock up on young powerful RB's and be a monster Running team for years. Respect, TJ for last year, but we don't need a contract whiner on a career skid when we have one of the best lines in football. Caulcrick- we know how i feel about him. worst- short yardage specialist. Best- Bettis either way, on the roster BUT NO YOUNG STUD RB TO GO WITH OUR YOUNG STUD 3rd DOWN BACK AND YOUNG STUD O-LINE. WR- do you hear crickets, i do....wait a minute, oh that's cotch...yeah....crickets. TE- one rookie who showed flashes and can't block.and there are those dammm crickets again. Defense is set, right up to the mad scientist. Offense, belongs in the Big Ten.
