SouthernJet
I took my 88 year old Mom to see this. She has early Alzheimer's so its difficult to pick flicks that she can follow. The premise is that the monsters from the 50's sci-fi flicks (renamed for copyright reasons I assume), The Blob, Creature from Black Lagoon etc . that are now improisoned in a Government facility to 'protect' Earth. Enter a alien attack force and voila, we need the Monsters to save Earth. Its very cute, and great special effects form a 3D POV. My Mom hadnt seen a real full 3D movie and was thrilled and enjoyed. This is obviously more a movie to bring the kids/grandkids, but there is something for everyone. Spend the few extra bucks and see it in 3D... 3 's
Borgoguy
Borgoboy is off from school this week, so I'm taking him to see this flick. Our paper gave it a B+.

Thor99
I saw this one last night. Very cool flick. Not necessarily for very young kids, but I would imagine 8 and up would be fine. 3D technology has come a long way since Jaws 3D.
Alk
Damn, looks like you were a busy guy this weekend SJ. I thought I was doing good seeing two movies.

My 3 year old wouldn't leave the theater and was asking to watch it again. My 7 year old wasn't overly impressed.

Maybe I'm just being too protective of my niece and nephew.
