124
If we are home Week 1 it would be any of the following teams: Miami Jacksonville Cincinnati Atlanta Carolina If we are on the road Week 1 it would be any of the following teams: Indianapolis Houston New Orleans Tampa Bay ~ TEN, NE & BUF are eliminated from possible Week 1 home games since their Week 1 games have already been announced. ~ NE, BUF & OAK are eliminated from possible Week 1 road games since their Week 1 games have already been announced. ~ MIA is eliminated from possible Week 1 road game since that Sunday the Florida Marlins are home and the Dolphins share the stadium with them. So who are we going to play? What do you all think?

slats
So the majority of you really think we're going to have a Week 1 home game in the final year of Giants Stadium? Interesting. A reasonable guess. The Jets will almost certainly be on the road the final week of the season (unless the league gives one team a Thurs or Sat home game that week). I hope it's not Cincy. Lava vs. Lito could be ugly week one. We opened against Miami last year, so that seems unlikely. I kinda hope that we break in the new coach/QB with an NFC opponent. Get everyone's feet wet with a game that counts just a little bit less.
124
its been every other year for the jets and giants for a very long time... Actually, no it hasn't. Jets Week 1 Games 2000-Present 2000: Away 2001: Home 2002: Away 2003: Away 2004: Home 2005: Away 2006: Away 2007: Home 2008: Away This is the final year of GIANTS STADIUM, I find it very unlikely that the Giants are on the road Week 1 or Week 17. But the best shot we do have to be at home in either Week 1 or Week 17 is to be home Week 1.
124
Lava vs. Lito could be ugly week one Why? First off, if Ocho Cinco is traded, Revis goes up against Coles. Secondly, if its Lito against Coles, why in the world would we be worried? Lito Sheppard is a very good Cornerback who was benched due to opening his mouth last season. He was a Pro Bowler in 2005 and 2007. 2007 being the most important year to remember. And out of all the 9 teams we could possibly play Week 1, Rex Ryan and Mike Pettine know Cincinnati the most. I would vote to play Cincy at home for sure.
