SouthernJet
The Great Buck Howard is a Indie film with a killer cast of John Malkovich, Colin Hanks, Emily Blunt, Tom Hanks , Ricky Jay and Steve Zahn. Multiple cameos by; John Stewart, Kelly Ripa, Conan O'Brien, George Takei, Tom Arnold , Regis Philbin, Jay Leno, and Martha Stewart plus more... Its based on the true life story of Kreskin, the menatlist of the 70s who was very famous on the TV (Johnny Carson constant guest) and in Vegas. The story picks up in 2009 with a over the hill entertainer who is performing to 50 people in hick town Movie Houses. Every person he claims to know is from the 1970s. Enter Colin Hanks who takes a job as his road manager and we see the brilliant John Malkovich show a performer wanting that last shot at fame. Malkovich is wonderful in a egomaniacal way. The movie is both very funny and very poignant. 3 's
