If Crabtree falls into the late top 10 do you want the Jets to trade up?

  1. 1. Should the Jets trade for Crabtree if he falls

recent mock drafts have Crabtree falling, it would take the Jets 1st (17th) and 2nd (52nd) for the Jets to reach picks 8-10, would you be in favor of the Jets trading up for arguably the best player in the draft

Nope If anything I'd like to see us trade DOWN a few spots and pick up EXTRA draft choices .

What kinda fan does it take to look at this team with no QB, no 1 WR or blocking TE and say they need defense...

I've been saying for a month I'd use 6 of the seven spots on offense.

something like WR, RB, QB, TE, OG and 1 DT(NO MORE POUHA,EVER!).

2 WR's or 2 RB's

People have this notion that we are all set at RB, I disagree, I think we will see a decline in TJ, not to mention his contract crap. Leon $=YES TJ $= NO

I know he won the title, great accomplishment, speaks volumes to T-Rich and the Line, plus the lack of using Leon, but I think he shot his load.........

.......He will service us this year, but Caulcrick will be punching it in and we need to start stocking up on young Big RB's to play with Leon behind that terrific line that we spent 2 first rounders and millions on. TJ is just about finito. All respect to last years MVP of the team.

if he's fallen to 10, chances aren't bad he falls to 17 too... all the WR hungry teams pick in the top 10... and the 20-30 range.

people have raised questions about Crabby's heart, noting that he didn't finish either of the games TT lost this year.

I'm not stirring the pot, I'm stating my opinion. Just because you obviously don't like my opinion doesn't mean I'm stirring the pot.

fair enough, and my opinuion is that Chad Jackson sucks and the patsies* screwed up their draft when then picked him, just like the Mike Wiliams signing..

Yes they did screw up but when we talk about Chad Jackson I don't think anybody ever claimed he was a can't miss, top 5 prospect either.

i'm all for grabbing knowshon at 17 (if he's there) and grabbing a wr in the second round.

I vote yes. Not thrilled with the scenario, but ehh. I wouldn't be too upset. For one I think Crabtree is legit. This WR class is pretty weak overall. But beyond that, getting a true #1 WR in any class is pretty rare I think Crabby can be that guy. Assuming the FO sees Crabby as a genuine #1 WR then yes you should look to make this move. I'd be more comfortable with a 1st and 3rd...maybe hold out another couple spots...but that's not the question. Not saying this guy is another Charles Johnson type of uber-WR type prospect, but he can easily be another Torry Holt imo. Locking up a guy like that is not a bad thing at all. Hopefully he doesn't prove to be yet another WR Diva who can't shut his mouth long enough to stop himself from acting like an immature fool. Plenty of those in the NFL. We could use less of them.
