As a kid visiting Italy, I would get a cone that was filled with panna (sweetened whipped cream), then topped with pistacchio gelato. After you ate the gelato, you devoured the cone with the cream that had absorbed the melted pistacchio. Heaven. BTW, do they still give you that little plastic "shovel" with which to eat the cone?
