Would you give 1st and 3rd for Boldin.

Was watching ESPN today and they said Cardinals are listening to offers in case they can't work out a deal with Anquan. It's suspected a 1st and 3rd rounder could get the job done. I'm wondering if anyone would be willing to give up those for him. Personally I would be all for it. He could def. step in a be our #1 WR, Cotch could stay in the #2 role, and Stucky/Clowney for #3/4. And depending on how high the Jets are on Clowney being our deep threat/speed guy, we could always use our 2nd rounder for WR, although I would prefer RB if we trade for Boldin. I just think Boldin would be a solid pick up to make, and would greatly increase our chances of winning right now. If one of our Qb's can't get it done with a solid line, those Wr's, and Jones/Washington then we know next year to draft a QB. One thing I do know is I don't want Boldin going to Miami where he is said to have some interest. What are your thoughts?

I think there will be plenty of teams offering their 1st and 3rd (which I would do, no doubt about it), but I think to 110% get it done and make sure that he lands on your football team, I think you would have to offer up a 1st and a 2nd round pick, once again, something I would definitely do for the services of Anquan Boldin. Then at 76 and 115 (I think thats our 4th round pick #) we can pick up a blocking TE and an OL to give us some OL depth, or another NT candidate to work in with Jenkins, Green & Pouha.

Solid draft. :Typotux:

Dude, you're insane if you think that the Cardinals won't get AT LEAST a 1st and a 3rd for Boldin when the Giants are going to land Braylon Edwards, who isn't as good as Boldin, for that exact same price.

I agree Larz, that would be a bit much to give up. But I would be more behind the Jets working some magic to get Boldin, then I would have been with them giving up alot for Cutler.

Nooooooooooo. Boldin is a clone of Coles with better size and comparable speed. Plus, he's taken a huge beating through the course of his career, and is destined to break down very, very soon. Cotchery does alot of the things that Boldin does; granted, not as well. The Jets need a big target who can get down the field, not another underneath receiver. You will never receive full value by trading for Boldin here. No way.

yes-I think you guys did two rounds

I have no official capacity here at JN, SoFla, and Max has strictly forbidden me from what he terms "subversive activities" with other members, and convening for any purpose is punishable by death.

But, I will start....

OK GO!

1. Detroit Lions--Matt Stafford, UGA
