Galloway marvels at Tom Brady

Galloway was apparently catching passes from Brady this week and was blown away at the experience.

He's played with more than 20 different quarterbacks in his career and I think he has the excitement of a rookie because of the chance to play with Brady. Galloway was marveling at how accurate Brady was in the practice session.

This ought to be well-received.

The reason these veteran free agents always work out so well for the Patriots is that Belichick never pays for anything he doesn't need. Given a specific need for a receiver to run a handful of deep routes a game, he'll go out and spend the minimum on a guy who can do that and nothing else. Granted, never needing to get greedy is a luxury nobody else has, but he uses it to maximum advantage.

Very astute observation.

I think you may've misunderstand. Galloway was reportedly marveling at Brady's ability to take on the entire Patriots defense by himself... and I'm not talking about on the practice field.

Apparently you and I have vastly different definitions of either "another" or "dominant".

Maybe. I'm going by who has the crown as the AFC East Champions, and as we all know, heavy is the head that wears the crown. But then, it's been a long time since the Jets were there, so I don't really expect you to understand ;)

Clinching the division week 14 is dominating a division, winning the division on the 5th tie breaker doesn't qualify as dominating.

I think that philosophy is a little easier run with when you have a top 2 WR and top 5 QB of all time. Once upon a moon seifert seemed like a good coach too

There has only been one year in BB's coach career where has had BOTH a top 2 WR and a top 5 QB of all time at the same time. That year the team won 18 games.

He won 3 SB without the WR. And won 11 games last year without the QB.

QB more important obv... Belichick has only made the playoffs 1 time without Brady and has a sub .500 record..

He won 3 SB without the WR. And won 11 games last year without the QB.

And yet no playoffs because the entire AFC East had a weak schedule last year.. The 11 wins last year still doesn't get Belichick to .500 w/out Brady

I'm not saying he's not a good coach, but I'm also not going to pretend he's so much superior to everyone else..

Only a Dolphins fan would be this arrogant following a year in which his team got smoked and his QB got exposed as a fraud in the wildcard game.

Oh, I'm sorry, still bitter about missing the playoffs and finishing 2nd to Chad?

Not at all. This past season, Dolphins in fact had the best QB in the division, Pats had the second best QB and the Jets had an old fart hasbeen.

While I would like to have made the playoffs, I am quite impressed with how the Patriots performed dispite the injuries. The Patriots were more injured in '08 than the Dolphins were in '07, yet the Patriots managed 11 wins and didn't fold like a cheap suit, like many other teams do when faced with adversity.

Hardly.

In a year when everything went wrong, we won 11 games. And while your team did win the division and was very news worthy, I am sure Matt Cassell would have accounted for himself a lot better then Chad.

Congrats. No way the Phins or Chad pull that off again.

No doubt.

No arguement here. Let's throw the DolFAG trolls in there too.

And get rid of the Jets' trolls like you and BO and this will be a nice board.
