Garb
why don't we have a "JETS" section and a "OTHER 31 TEAMS" section? Damn! That would create quite the post count for you, wouldn't it? Being the Giants, Jets, Ravens, Cowboys, Celtics, Lakers, Cavaliers, Yankees, Dodgers, Padres fan that you are. And lets not forget about all your contributions in the "lounge." Where else could we get the latest rumors about rappers sexual orientation, gun and drug posession arrests, and of course, your RIP threads honoring "artists" many folks never heard of. TNJet
And, i'm sure Brady is amazed as well by having now 2 of the most overrated wr's in the league! One opposite the other! And neither able to get free from Revis or Sheperd! Yay! And Brady loves the taste of mud, good thing, since Ryans defense will be feeding it to him 8-12 times a game when they play each other. That rules you out then, you couldn't possibly be more obnoxious! I was laughing at the thought that Moss and Welker are over-rated, if you need to know. Further, that old man Galloway will be more than a third option. I have no doubt that the Jets' swaggerlicious defense will try to make Brady eat "mud" on a synthetic field

Bleedin Green
I was referring to Moss and Galloway. Randy Moss is one of the most overrated WRs in the league? I hate the Patriots as much as anyone, but are you freakin' kidding me?

Bleedin Green
Didnt Revis shut him down in both games last year? Thanks! Actually, Ty Law shut him down in the second game. Of course, that was also with Matt freakin' Cassel throwing him the ball. And as much as I was glad to see him go, you have to give Mangini credit for consistently coming up with extremely effective gameplans for most games against the Patriots in his years here. No player is perfect and they'll all have their occasional tough games, but the guy holds the single season receiving TD record. In an 11 year career he's only failed to break 1000 yards twice (one year due to injury and another was his last in Oakland) and only failed to hit double digit TDs three times (two of which were his 2 years in Oakland). Again, I hate the Patriots. I love every opportunity to trash them or their players. I think the guy is a prick and has a crap attitude. But you know what, he's also a phenomal WR. Trying to argue anything else is simply asburd.

crashingjet
Thank you for that useless contribution (if you can even call it that). Hey, you said "Ty Law shut him down the second game". I posted visual proff of Moss's TD in the second game. Ergo, Law couldn't have shut him down if he caught a TD (A TD that sent the game to overtime). A big reason was b/c they Jets committed multiple guys to stop Moss and made other players beat them. Law didn't shut down Moss but he played a role in shutting him down. SMC
Why hasn't anyone asked this question: Why do we care what Galloway thinks? Galloway is an old, washed up WR who's played with JAG QBs all his career. That's like a guy who has only been with fat chicks finally dating a hot thin chick and saying: "Wow, what a great body she has!" and everyone saying: "That's great insight." Rather than: "No ****, compared to the heffas you've been with."
PFSIKH
Thank you for that useless contribution (if you can even call it that). The Jets did a phenominal job on Moss in the second game. With that being said, he made an outstanding catch on a outstanding pass. I do not believe there was much wrong with the coverage on that play. Before a foot injury robbed him of much of last season, he averaged over 17 yards a catch on 119 catches (13 TDs) over the previous two seasons. I would not say he is washed up yet, but we shall see. You're arguing semantics over a single point that was meant to correct someone stating that it was Revis who "shut down" (or at least effectively covered) Moss, when that was not the case. My post was hardly arguing the merits of whether or not Ty Law completely shut down Moss, you're just being a pain in the ass.

I do not believe there was much wrong with the coverage on that play. Completely agree. And as great of a job as the Jets did against Moss that day, that very play proves exactly my initial point of how asinine it is to consider Moss one of the most overrated WRs in the league. There are few, if any, DBs that could've done anything to stop that TD.
