crashingjet
You're arguing semantics over a single point that was meant to correct someone stating that it was Revis who "shut down" (or at least effectively covered) Moss, when that was not the case. My post was hardly arguing the merits of whether or not Ty Law completely shut down Moss, you're just being a pain in the ass. Sorry, it's what we trolls do. You make a valid argument. Thai Jet
The Jets did a phenominal job on Moss in the second game. With that being said, he made an outstanding catch on a outstanding pass. I do not believe there was much wrong with the coverage on that play. Excellent observation and dead on accurate. The pass was right on the money and Moss made a great catch. PFSIKH
That's great but he folds in January, Brady doesn't. Manning is a great fantasy QB. Montana earned his SB MVPs, Manning did not. Montana won a SB w/ Ricky Patton, Earl Cooper and Johnny Davis as his RBs and dwight Clark & Freddie Solomon as his WRs w/ Chrale Young as his TE. A far cry from Addai and Rhodes(the real MVPs of the SB), Harrison, Wayne, Clark,... Manning is an updated version of Steve Young. Great fantasy player w/ a Championship team around him but couldn't perform in january to win enough although at least young had a great postseason in 1994 while Manning threw 3 TDs and 7 INTs in the '06 postseason. +1 I know it probably was painful to say anything nice about Brady. PatriotReign37
+1 I know it probably was painful to say anything nice about Brady. Not for nyjunc He is rather complimentary about Brady. I think Brady and Manning are equal. Both have their strengths. Manning is better at deep throws and Brady better at making decisions quickly. JETfrmWOMBtoTOMB
Galloway was apparently catching passes from Brady this week and was blown away at the experience. He's played with more than 20 different quarterbacks in his career and I think he has the excitement of a rookie because of the chance to play with Brady. Galloway was marveling at how accurate Brady was in the practice session. Yea, well, he'll curb his enthusiasm a bit after he meets Revis and Sheppard... Trust me on that one. nyjunc
+1 I know it probably was painful to say anything nice about Brady. It is very difficult but I have to be honest. I don't believe the 2 are even close, that's how great I think Brady is. Brady is in the discussion for best of all-time, Manning is great and will be a HOFer but he's not anywhere near Bradys level. Garb
it's draft week ya know if anyone believes anything that anti-christ sez...i have a covered bridge in vermont i will sell ya.. This is where you are dead wrong. BB just says nothing. At best, very little. A player could have had his lefty leg amputated and he'd say the player has an issue with his leg. For BB to say that Tom is practicing without limitation is akin to him describing his first encounter with Ms. Sharon Schennoca. 'Aint happening! That's why it's so shocking he said that Tom was "doing well." Anyway - I have no doubt this is true. Absolutely. No hesitation.

PatriotReign37
He has 3, manning has one and Manning has been a starter for 4 more seasons. Manning started from year # 1. You have to give him his due. If I couldnt have Brady I would be happy with Manning, not Eli. Youre never out of the game with P Manning.

Blackout
PFSIKH, Brady has not won a playoff game since the week before losing to the Giants. that is a bad point to your stance in this arguement Peyton Manning has been living up to the hype of a #1 draftpick the past 10 seasons, winning three MVP awards and putting together so many double-digit win seasons....just wait 'til Manning passes Favre for passing yards and TD's and countless other records (but probably not INT's)

Youre never out of the game with P Manning. Your never out of a regular season game w/ peyton manning, you rarely have a shot to win a postseason game w/ him. Can you please post their stats? They both sucked in their only Super Bowl appearances. Neither Peyton or Eli deserved their SB MVP but to be fair neither did Brady in 2001. Blackout
so now all of the sudden you're going to throw away the fact Brady has spent most of his career with a much better defense and more of a running game, while Manning was forced to throw up yards for the longest?
