nycdan
I've been pretty much ignoring this 'rudy' story because of the 5'7" thing. But 200 lbs? At that height? Maybe he can do something after all. Hey...we all laughed at Nate Washington at one time too. But still...there's this voice in my head reminding me that he's hardly bigger than Earl Campbell's left thigh... drago
Someday the NFL will look at the shorter RB's as a positives. There are just too many of them out there to ignore. I won't go through the list but there are some real greats. At some point we'll see guys like MJD being drafted BECAUSE of their height, not in spite of it. bman
Jets need to draft a big bruiser rb in rd 3 or 4...

uart
I can't help but root for him. He'd be a great story if he made the team. I doubt he will though.
jetophile
Does he look seventeen now? Man, I felt so busted when he got hurt. C'mon, I want an NFL success story, courtesy of the Jets. I'll give ya five bucks.

How about the dude that played for the bucks years ago (or was it the Chargers) I think he was 5'6"?

How about the dude that played for the bucks years ago (or was it the Chargers) I think he was 5'6"? Yes, but that's still 2" taller, and Leon is only exposed to about 10-12 hits per game - maybe a few more this season. Do we really have a roster spot for another RB who is even smaller and already has an injury question? I'm not against him, but this team needs a RB who is 'money' on third and two, not a shorter Leon.
