I don't understand why Fergie started Macheda instead of Berbac**t. I thought the idea of late substitutions is to bring ona fresh pair of legs to run at a tired defence, not a fresh pair of legs to stroll round the place, admiring the f**king scenery. What would a fresh Macheda would have done in extra time? I don't know if he would have won the game, but he'd have given the Blueshite a much harder time. The Berbatov penalty kick was awful. I could have saved it. Ferdinand wasn't much better. Still it's great to see Howard make those saves on such a big stage.
