Morrissey 12,643 #36 Posted April 22, 2009 Andy doesn't have his good stuff tonight, hopefully we can keep tacking on runs. I'd like to get 6 innings out of him.

Morrissey 12,643 #39 Posted April 22, 2009 You just have to appreciate Andy Pettitte. He's the poster boy for stability. Even when he doesn't have his best stuff early in the game the guy battles and gives you a solid 7 innings.
Morrissey 12,643 #40 Posted April 22, 2009 I'm starting to feel bad for Ransom, it's so obvious he doesn't belong in the majors, you can see it on his face... that he knows it as well.

I don't see why we don't just start pena. At least he will be a major leaguer one day. We get his glove and he gets some first hand learning on how to hit in the majors. Morrissey 12,643 #44 Posted April 22, 2009 What the hell was that? That 2nd time Cabrera has tried to bunt in the dumbest situations, oh well.. thanks! Good win for the Yankees. 2 games over .
Otter 27,367 #45 Posted April 22, 2009 Nice job by Pettite going seven innings. Gotta love it when the starters hang in there even when they don't have their best stuff.

Matt39 39,574 #50 Posted April 22, 2009 I love them, makes my day go back faster. Does anyone work anymore? I like the day game every so often, but this is getting absurd. I 'd like to watch an entire game at some point this season.

Since I'm on the west coast I just get to listen to the game on the radio and it chews up half of my day. Good times.

Vicious89x 121,413 #57 Posted April 22, 2009 CC= looks like ****. That's a profound statement considering Damon dropped a lazy fly ball. Yes, CC somehow caused the drop. And now a dumb play by Jeter, he should've gone to first.

Posada shouldve stayed at home with a runner on third. Jeter couldnt get the runner at first. Giambi wouldve been out by a mile if Posada wasnt 1/2 way down to first. CC doesnt look sharp today...again.

Cust is a HORRID runner, in baseball terms Posada did the RIGHT thing because it should have been a 1-6-3 double play, his job is to back up first, not to stay at home. Look at the play, Cust would've been out by a mile, when you can get the double play without having to go to home that's what you do. CC looks fine. What do you want, 0 hits and 15k's a game? Please. Vicious89x 121,413 #60 Posted April 22, 2009 Not a bad inning. CC needs to shake off that messy inning and keep throwing strike 1.

Morrissey 12,643 #70 Posted April 22, 2009 I think it's a mistake to keep CC in the game. Bad job Joe, and course a lead off single. We have to find someone to trust in that pen besides Bruney and Rivera...
