File Under: Baltimore Ravens, Rex Ryan, Mike Pettine, Mike Kracalik, San Diego State

04/20 — Rex Ryan was asked about the five tryout players who were brought in for a look-see at last week's three-day voluntary veterans minicamp.

"I liked the guys we picked up," Rex said, "and I think all of them have a chance."

One of them definitely has a shot because the Jets announced the signing of offensive tackle Mike Kracalik this afternoon.

But that's no surprise. GM Mike Tannenbaum is familiar with his work, since the Jets signed him as an undrafted free agent from San Diego State in 2005 before making him a final cut that summer.

Then Ryan and DC Mike Pettine know of him from his past three seasons with the Ravens, for whom he played a total of four games. In fact, the Ravens cut him five times, four times from the active roster and once from the practice squad. But they re-signed him all but the last time, last September.

So Kracalik (pronounced KRAH-cha-lik) clearly has persistence. He has great size at 6'8" and 337 pounds. And the Jets can use the competition for backup spots along the O-line.

Welcome aboard, Mike.

The return of Michael Kracalik

Massive tackle Mike Kracalik, a former Jet who was one of the "tryout" players participating in last week's minicamp, was re-signed by the Jets Monday afternoon.

The 6-8 337-pound Kracalik, who played at San Diego State, was originally signed by the Jets in 2005 but was waived after training camp. He spent the last three seasons (2006-08) with the Ravens, appearing in four games.

Hey, you never know.

Surely I'm not the first to say this but this is 128 again right?

I'm not sure if anyone has said it, but I've certainly been thinking it.

Edit:

Just checked some of his other posts. Now I'm convinced it's him ;)

Yeah ? I spend my time postin, not looking up to see if somebody IS somebody else.

Ok, how much time do you think it takes to look up 16 posts? That's all he has. Maybe if you spent less time defending the little freak...

:rl: Your obsession with seeing 128 hiding behind every post is hysterical. That should be the least of your worries. :P

:rl: I think somebody's got too much free time on their hands.

It wasn't like it was a week long investigation. Just click under his name and go to find other posts. I was done with the search quicker than you can type swaggerlicious.

And you kissing the ass of that little retard in each one of his useless threads is ****ing hysterical too. It's not exactly hard to find his new accounts either. It's quite obvious to anyone who isn't all buddy-buddy with him. Again, 16 posts. It took all of two minutes to "research" as you call it.
