Losses from last year:

Eric Barton - A sure tackler left the Jets and followed Eric Mangini to Cleveland. The team replaced him quickly with Bart Scott.

David Bowens - Veteran who played a lot of key downs for the Jets when David HarrisDavid Harris was injured. He also joined Mangini in Cleveland. His locker room presence will be missed.

Cody Spencer - Reserve linebacker is now a member of the Lions.

Brad Kassell - Jets let him go this winter. He remains unsigned.

David Harris - His second season was shortened by injuries. When he was healthy he showed great pursuit all over the field. He suffered a broken ankle in the team's last game, so that will bear watching.

Calvin Pace - Had seven sacks in his first season with the Jets but only three in the team's final seven games. Mangini used him often in pass coverage, something he complained about. It will be interesting to see how Rex Ryan employs him.

Bryan Thomas - Former first-round pick had one of his most productive seasons as a Jet. He had 58 tackles and 5
