Posted by Mike Florio on April 22, 2009, 11:51 a.m.

As recently as last week, the Browns had a Milk Bone in their pockets for Texas Tech receiver Michael Crabtree.

Now? Not.

According to Tony Grossi of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, the Browns

If the Browns are crossing Crabtree off the list because he's a diva, how in the heck does anyone think that the Browns would actually consider Sanchez? (It was rumored this morning on ESPN).

Because Sanchez isn't a diva? He has been described as the Anti-Matt Leinart, just because he was a QB at USC doesn't make him a diva.

Lol. WE DON'T NEED TALENT, WE NEED GOOD PEOPLE!

This is an attitude I just don't get. Having a lousy attitude does not equal having talent and having a great attitude does not equal not having talent.

If faced with a choice of two talented players, it just make sense to take the one with the better attitude.

Basically.

Like someone just said, better news for us that a receiver will fall to us.

That's just common sense.

Yes, if they are EQUALLY talented.

If not, go with the guy with more talent.

So he has TO's attitude.. Would you mind having a TO type player skill wise? I didn't think so.

No, if we had a chance to snag him we would be stupid not to.

But on the other hand, I just saw two interviews with him on Sportscenter and Mike and Mike.

The most common words out of his mouth were "I don't care", "I don't pay attention to that", "I just have fun, that's what I do".

And he basically said he only listens to his Dad, not NFL scouts/coaches .

Check Cleveland.com/plaindealer (i think that's it). Mary Kay Kabot ( Tony Grossi's co-worker) has an article in today's edition stating both parties (browns and Crabtree) are very interested in each other.

exactly Paul-I just saw it on NFL live Crabtree was asked and shown both stories FROM THE SAME PAPER on the SAME DAY...he just laughed. He said it went the same as every other interview with every other team went. BTW-no WAY Mangini picks a WR-he'll go defense

Yeah, i get the Plain Dealer delivered to my home and read the article this morning and it seems to contradict this report. Was just too lazy to look up the online link. lol

FWIW i think the only way the clowns go WR is if they deal Edwards. That Edwards to the Giants rumor just won't die here it seems.
