They will trade away about three of their picks. Also, not only do they need help at outside LB, but inside is incredibly thin. Are people actually thinking that Bruschi is all that viable in the inside? C'mon.

He is another old fart that needs to move on to retirement.

Brady will stay healthy and the Pats will go 4-12.

Lay off the crack. It kills.

Brady is going to be gun-shy.

Moss will revert to his old "self" and be on the decline.

BB has lost the itch.

Keep clicking your heels together and it might come true.

As much as I would love to see the Pats implode, there is just now way that happens. Brady is going to come back like nothing ever happened. Moss is still going to be a freak of nature. BB is still going to be an *******. What does give me comfort is that they are about one injured linebacker away from defensive awfulness.

The D was not that great last year. The Pass D was horrible. HHOoorrrriibbbllleeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Run D was ok, but that is more because the Pass D was horrible. They did not generate any pass rush. They did not generate many TOs.

I am one that hopes they invest most of those 4 picks in the between 23 and 58 on D. That with Mayo and the hopeful development of another handful of LBers and Secondary from last year will make the D an actual strength.

We agree, so I don't know what the confused face is about. The front 3 is great, the linebackers outside of Mayo are geriatric or unproven, and the secondary blows. What I meant was that if Mayo or Thomas goes down, things will look mighty bad for the Pats. Your right in that BB will certainly invest multiple picks on the defensive side, but he doesn't usually play rookies and you can't expect everyone to catch on as quick as Mayo.
