Roster:

1) BG

2) Crusher

3) Norway

4) JVoR

5) EY

6) Vic

Roles:

1 Sane cop (gets accurate results)

1 Insane cop (gets opposite results - innocents show as guilty, guilty as innocent)

1 Paranoid cop (gets only guilty results)

1 Naive cop (gets only innocent results)

1 Doc

1 SK

It is now night 1. When you receive your role PM, reply with your night actions (cops - investigation targets; doc - protection; SK - night kill). Once all actions are in, I'll start the day

Alright folks. In a game of this length there's no reason to mess around. We're not exactly looking to "protect" anyone because this thing doesn't last very long. Might as well go around and reveal and for those who are cops, give who you investigated and the results.

Why don't we offer everyone a doughnut. The two people who refuse are either the serial killer or the Doc. With a 50/50 chance to lynch the right one.

Bleedin Green, would you like a doughnut?

Care to share why?

Do people really not believe me that we all need to reveal our results? You people DO realize that our entire key to winning this game is identifying to the best of our ability who has each cop role, right?

I dunno, because we dont' have alts so I'm scared of you.

Haha, ok. Keep in mind we only get two lynches in this entire game. If you investigated and got a guilty result, please feel free to share.

Again, I REALLY think everyone needs to give out their results. We need to try to decipher who has which investigation role and from there, we can narrow down who are potential SKs are.

I think Bleedin's right about this setup. The whole point is to solve the logic puzzle that is the cop reports in this setup.

I'm a cop and I have an innocent result on Bleedin Green. This makes me insane, real, or naive.

Thank you JVOR. I didn't reveal first because I wanted to make sure people were on board, so here it is:

I investigated myself. I received a guilty result. That means I'm either insane or paranoid.

So from my perspective, I see this:

Roles

JVOR - Real or Naive

BG - Insane or Paranoid

Why would you investigate yourself?

Its simple, the whole trick of this game is determining who has each cop role. I know nothing about any of you. But obviously, I know my own alignment. If I investigated anyone in this game, the result I received would mean nothing to me, the ONLY thing I would know is that I could eliminate one possible role (being the cop who always receives the opposite result of which I received.)

For example, JVOR investigated me and all he knows right now is that he's not the paranoid cop. By investigating myself, I was able to eliminate two possibilities. I now know I am neither the real cop nor the naive cop. Granted, you guys have no reason to believe me on that, but from my own perspective I now have a better understanding of my own game. I can then use it to help determine the potential roles of other players as well as give me a greater understanding of my night 2 investigation. For example, if I investigate someone night 2 and get an innocent result, that would mean I am the insane cop and had just found our SK.

Why would you investigate yourself?

It's actually not a bad investigation at all and I wish I had reconsidered mine to be honest.

A self investigating cop can narrow down the possibilities because you know 100% for sure your own alignment. If you get innocent on yourself, you know it's real or naive. If you get a guilty you know it's paranoid or insane.

I don't know if BG is full of crap and is lying to us right now, but investigating yourself is actually a good play.

I'm the real cop, because I got an innocent on EY last night.

Don't feel bad, I'm very glad you investigated me. I hope everyone investigated me, because it gives me more info to work with. I now know both you and I could only have two possible roles (assuming, of course, you didn't just throw out a bogus investigation result as SK).
