fatcatxl
A guy a work with is a big Giants fan and he was going on about their D. Me being sleep deprived made a bet with him about our defenses. I bet him that for the regular season the jets will have a better D under this scenario, We'll take the rankings of the D in three categories: 1. PPG 2. Takeaways 3. Sacks The lowest overall number wins. Was this a good bet or did I just throw away money?
4HCrew
Who knows what the loss of Spags will mean to the Giants defense. They are also getting back Osi and made some good additions like Canty. Tough call with this one..the other problem could be that the Jets defense could be on the field a lot more than the Gints if the qb struggles
PS17
Good bed I guess. The Giants MIGHT have more sacks than us.

#27TheDominator
for 2 and 3 shouldn't it be the highest overall number not lowest. He said the rankings. Giants were better than us last year and they are getting Osi back. New coaches for both. Giants gave up less points and had more sacks and ints, but I think they had way less forced fumbles. The Jets had a ton of FF last year and I think that would move them way up on your bet. Looking at Baltimore's stats last year I think people are expecting way too many sacks out of the Jets in 2009. The Jets will blitz alot more from the 3-4 than they did under Mangini so it could be very close. PPG and takeaways should favor the 3-4 too.
