SouthernJet
Since the Pats have been selling out every game since 1993 I'm pretty confident they will continue to sellout long after Brady and Belichick are gone. Prior to 1996 the Pats had been to one Super Bowl and got their arses kicked. At least the Jets had won one prior to that. but the key is they were playing better than,,, the jet shave been selling out since 60s and they have usually blown
PatriotReign37
Thanks for not sharing the details. I heard about that zipper malfunction down there and believe that kind of story belongs on a different type of website's message board. Shouldnt you be over at the PatsFans.Com circle jerk? They miss you.
PatriotReign37
What is this a joke, Jets fans easily. They're loyal for the most part. Half of the Patriots fan base are bandwagoners. I wouldnt say half, but there are no doubt more than a few NE fans that only know about winning.
nyjunc
I agree. Dude is not dumb and a shrewd business man. A big picture type guy. Considering he bought one of the least valuable NFL franchises (probably pro sports franchises) for a record price, they are 7 times worth what he bought them for (173 million versus 1.4 billion).. he's the best owner in the sport, maybe all of sports. Klecko73isGod
he's the best owner in the sport, maybe all of sports. Not really. If value related to purchase price determines quality of ownership, no one comes remotely close to George Steinbrenner. The man bought the Yankees for $10 million and now they are worth $1.5 billion. The team is worth 150 times what he paid for them.

Kraft has a model organization, built a Stadium the right way, has the right people in place running his team, his teams are championship contenders just about every year and they are now a marquee team in sports. That would have been unthinkable a decade ago.

If Bledsoe went down and Brady played like the typical 6th rounder, Belichick would be a DC somewhere right now, probably Miami because Parcells is one of the few people willing to put up with his lousy attitude, and Gillette would be 2/3 empty every Sunday. He gave up a draft pick for belichick so he didnt' really get lucky, he was called a fool for giving up a 1st rd pick for Belichcik but who looks like the fool now? yes they got lucky w/ Brady but you can say SF got lucky w/ Montana or the Colts got lucky w/ Unitas. The bottom line is Kraft knew he wanted BB back and he did what he had to do to get him and he has 3 Championships b/c of that.

More Klecko whining. Blah Blah blah frickin' boo hoo. Kraft got lucky with Belichick. He got lucky with Brady. He got lucky buying Foxboro stadium because it kept the team in New England. He got lucky the team went from being sold for 170 million to being worth 1.4 billion in rising. Yeah, he is lucky. "Chance favors the prepared mind." He has made mistakes as an owner, but it is not luck that brought the team to being the 3rd most valuable team. .
