It stopped raining and it's sunny right now in Buffalo. Hopefully the sunshine is headed toward Boston.

Side note...

How great of a signing has Teixiera been? Considering I was rough on this guy from the start. He's simply been a freak since.

Nice having the best first baseman in the AL locked up for 8 years.

Worth at least +2 runs saved each night. Amazing man.

He's been unreal at the plate since ARod's return and he's a gold glove fielder. Great signing.

The cloud cover has increased and there is a light drizzle falling. The wind has dropped but I'm sure the temp has as well.

I can see the Boston skyline from my apartment but I can't see anything right now.

.470 OBP is pretty good.

Isn't their top prospect a first baseman? If so, I guess Youk goes to third.

I think that's the first time they've gotten Bay out all year.

The weather is awful right now. There is a heavy mist/light drizzle falling and it is cold. The TV coverage makes it look better than it is.

I have no idea why they are playing this game tonight.

On My9, the audio isn't synchronized with the visual. In other words, when Mark Teixeira makes contact with the ball, I hear the bat hitting the ball while the ball is still on it's way to home plate.

Anyone else have this problem? Friggin annoying.

The audio is alright for me on both the HD and regular my9.

Beckett looks tough tonight. The Yanks need to work the count and get him out of the game.

tsk tsk tsk

Burnett doesn't look sharp tonight.

Looks like Ortiz hit the needle this afternoon.

You're right. It had nothing to do with AJ Burnett leaving his meatball right over the plate.

The syringe can swallow Burnett too.

Burnett got careless. Pretty much anyone one of us, with the exception of PFSIKH, could have put that one over the wall.

We're not scoring 4 runs against Beckett. Might as well put this one in the books.

That HR went to the deepest part of the park. Either way, ARods error just cost the Yankees 2 runs.
