PFSIKH
PSA. Ok, since I am retiring from the Army and recently started a contractor job. Today, is my Saturday and I went outside to do some yard work. Today's task was clearing the over grown and ingrown weeds around my fence. My weed wacker died last week so I got a bright idea. Take down the fence and just mow it. I looked over the fence and it is easy to take apart. I did about 6x8 foot sections which was roughly the halfway point to my back fence. Cleared the weeds and a tree that was growing into my fence. Stood the fence back up and tied it off in a few spaces. I was about 14 inches short of the post it was fastened to. Started over wrenching back in place and tying it off. Got to the end and was about 12 inches short. I am a dumb ass.

Green DNA
You may want to reconsider the new contracting gig
Thor99
Just remember, "Measure once, cut twice", and you'll be just fine.
PatriotReign37
Chain link fence? You need a come along wench. Rental stores have them unless you want to buy one. Or, you can hook a car up with a rope or chain and pull it in place, but dont get overzealous and pull the back fence down with it Obviously. PFSIKH
Your lady told me the same thing about you bro. Yeah, well she is a sweet heart. Chain link fence? You need a come along wench. Unfortunately, the way the fence lies between mine and my neighbors house, the car option is bad due to the slope of the yard and a drainage troth that runs to a stream. I knew I needed something. Maybe in phase 2 I will do this, but I am going to watch a guy do it and get some tips.
