GodWearsAGrayHoodie
If he wants to be a runningback I don't see why BB wouldn't sign him to a one year deal. I don't see him signing Vick to a one year deal just to drop KO'C to the third spot on the QB depth chart.

dbatesman
KO'C? That Kevin guy? Yeah, it would be like us bringing in another QB...why interfere with the dynamic that KelClem and E.A. have built here? On the other hand, having a veteran to push MarkSan could be good for his development. Hell, maybe we'll find a diamond in the rough in C-Pizzy. Alk
I could potentially see it happening with Vick being used in sort of a Wildcat role but that's about it. The guy is a first rate scumbag but I suppose if he could help out my team, what the hell.

PatriotReign37
I'll give Vick until week 7 until he's replaces Tom Brady. Theres no way because Vick isnt an good NFL QB. In College, Vick as phenom because he was physically better than most of the other players on the field. The NFL is not only more mentally challenging, but every player is gifted physically like he was at VT. His shtick doesnt work so well in the NFL because a 200 + Safety with strength and speed knocks him into next week when he tries his Barry Sanders imitation. I'm not saying he'd replace Brady, but this is straight bull****. He averages around 7 ypc for his career and has over 20 rushing TDs. He had 1000 yards rushing at around 8.5 per in 2006. He may not be a good NFL QB, but safeties weren't exactly knocking him into next week.

124
I cannot wait until Vick is back in this league, starting games, and leading teams thats best offensive threats are Alge Crumper and Warrick Dunn to the NFC Championship Game again. He would be a perfect fit in St.Louis or San Francisco. He can make the players around him better, like he always did in Atlanta.

PFSIKH
I hope not. I want him to start and win. Which he will do. What team in there right mind would give him a chance at QB? Like Vince Young, for him to win a lot of other things need to be working. Seeing he was at best an adequate QB, he now has three more years of rust. If a team signs him, it should be as an athlete. Vick doesnt posses the patience or passing skills and wants to jack rabbit out of the pocket when pressured.

My bad--that post was entirely tongue-in-cheek, mocking the fact that Pats fans apparently have a name for their girl-handed second-year backup QB. RB's dont last long in the NFL and QB's who think they are RB's arent far behind. WTF are you laughing at? You're right, running backs don't last too long. Maroney didn't. We're supposed to worry about Vick's longevity? At this point, who could give a ****? He's not a billion dollar player, he's expendable. Vick is not a great NFL QB. The fault lies with his arm and his head, not the fact that the players are bigger and faster than college. Vick is as good a rushing QB as has ever played the game and safeties are NOT "knocking him into next week".

But if you couldn't see Vick was clearly more athletic than 75% of the players he came up against then you didn't see enough Atlanta games. The guy looked untouchable at times, it was like he as playing at another speed. There are very few players I've seen play who are as elusive as Mike Vick in the NFL. Defensive lines couldn't play Vick like a normal QB and because of that, the defensive lines couldn't stop the run. He made the running game in Atlanta, especially Warrick Dunn and T.J Duckett look a lot better than they really were.

war ensemble
Vick is a physical beast. It's absurd to think everyone in the NFL has as good physical attributes as him. He could outrun the majority of teams, and at times looked outright untouchable. He averaged like 7 ypc. That's insane--1,000+ running yards for a QB. At this point, who cares about longevity? If he's making your team play better in the short-term that's all you need--he's cheap enough as is. It's not like you're signing him to a huge long-term contract.
