So I'm on I-94 Yesterday With My Daughter And What Do I See Atop A Truck's Dashboard?

I was picking my daughter up from her mom yesterday and we were heading home along I-94, which for anyone who has never been to Michigan, is the main E-W route across the state and a -royal- pain in the ass. 2 lanes each way, major NAFTA-related truck route, poor condition like the rest of Michigan roads, etc.

So we're stuck in stop and go traffic, thanks to the hillbillies heading home from the NASCAR race in Brooklyn, when I see a pickup truck next to me.

I look over, like we all do, and what do I see sitting right on top of the pickup truck's dashboard:

An AT-4 Anti-Tank rocket!

Not kidding at all. The tube is just sitting there on the freaking dashboard. Now I'm sure it was an inert tube and the 20something dumbass driving the car thought he was being funny, but I called it in under the theory of "if you're dumb enough to drive with an anti-tank rocket on your dash, you deserve to get a gun screwed in your ear"

I called 911 and gave them the info and description. but when the guy took an exit, I kept on going. I had my daughter and suddenly my Glock 27 with 10 rounds of .40 cal ammo felt grossly inadequate.

Not sure if they ever found the truck or what happened. I hope they did, because he would have been dragged out by about 9 cops at gunpoint for his stupidity.

No, the military is tighter with weapons than anyone. Like I said, it was most likely an inert training piece the idiot got at a surplus store.....but still, don't store it atop the dashboard.
