Hmm, I'm not actually too worried about this. We've got him on a free, I reckon he'll be on a low wage and appearance money. Also, he'll actually have a decent medical staff to look after him now, not a bunch of people who think eating Sugar Puffs washed down with Newkie Brown Ale cures all ailments or that their f**king Messiah of the day merely has to lay their hands on him. And he's a hell of a better striker than Saha is. And it's almost worth it watching all my Scouse loving friends going absolutely furious - most of them wanted him back to fill in for when Torres' AIDS flares up.

As for losing faith in Fergie, I remember hearing the same things when Fergie got rid of Kancheslkis, Ince and co, and look what happened. It's not his fault that every player he's professed an interest, Madrid have come in with a blank cheque - I'm surprised they didn't put in a 50 million quid offer for Owen for the hell of it.

Last time I checked United won the Premier League for the third year in a row, and are World Champions. it's only the 3rd of July, and he's still got 70mill to spend.

And as for ugly kit? Look at that new Newcastle away strip. F**king rank. Actually, new thread idea.

Madrid have gone bat**** insane. There's no doubt about it.

We've won the title for the third year in a row (I can't call us World Champions anymore after the Barca defeat) but seriously, as much as you disliked the guy do you think we win those titles without Ronaldo's goals?

You're right on Fergie but I'm still not convinced Owen will amount to anything. I hink injuries have simply taken their toll on him, he was a great goalscorer back in the day and I would love nothing more than him to prove me wrong but watching him with Newcastle, even when he was healthy - The burst of pace, the positioning, the finishing - Everything that had made him what he was just seemed to be gone.

I'd have more faith in the
