InstantClassic
I have yet to go to one, wanted to see Dark Knight in IMAX but it was sold out for weeks in NY. The one by me isn't a 'true IMAX' so I've heard. The Muvico at City Place?
rillo
The Muvico at City Place? Yeah, heard it wasn't a "true Imax" just a big screen in a little room, who knows?. Haven't been there in a while either, the place is flooded with kids and 'wannabe thugs'. Usually go to the drive in.

MasonJet
This movie looks like complete garbage. I'll save my money for Public Enemies or Away We Go. http://www.rollingstone.com/reviews/movie/25458013/review/28840142/transformers_revenge_of_the_fallen But I've said enough. Go ahead, have your senses senselessly pounded for two and a half hours. And, please, it's not that I hate robot movies. I stand second to no one in admiring the power and dark poetry that James Cameron brought to the first two Terminator films. I even have a dream that the great bots of movie history

Surprisingly its crossed over and is at both Mainstreams and Indie theaters in Raleigh. I will go to Indie to support them, they need it more than mainstreams http://www.therialto.com/joomla/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=19 Sunday will probably be Goodbye Solo or more than likely The Girlfriend Experience, also Indies (its kind of slow for mainstreams last 2 weeks..until Public Enemy next week) http://www.metacritic.com/film/titles/goodbyesolo http://www.metacritic.com/film/titles/girlfriendexperience

joebabyny
cult classic for sure The King of New York and Bad Lieutenant are cult classics, don't know if waterworld is that kind of movie or just a funny-bad movie that has any kind of recognition just because the amount of money that was wasted on it. I think at the time it was the most expensive movie ever.

Borgoguy
i would so do her lol Imagine that moment when you realize you are inside of Miss Jane? LOL. Not sure why, but I agree that she's a "notch" that you would want on your belt. joebabyny
Imax is overrated and overpriced. not if the source material was really shot on imax spec equipment. The picture and sound can just s$$t on a regular film presentation if it was filmed on the imax film.

Borgoguy
Really?? Joe, you know I dig this chick big time. That shot of her on the bike (not mine, unfortunately) makes me insane. It's just that I have seen her on award shows recently--probably months after the movie was shot--and she looks like another Hollywood "X-Ray". Even my wife (a major fan of her beauty) said, "What happened to Megan Fox?"

Alk
This movie is a perfect example of critics just needing to take their noses out of the air, shoving them up their a$$es and just shutting the f#ck up. I enjoyed damn near every minute of this movie. Sure it had it's slow spots but I was damn happy walking out of the theater.
Mavrik
That movie was one of the most epicly awful movies I have seen in recent memory. I mean seriously...I am still getting over just how bad it was. Between the absolutely convoluted plot, EXTREMELY campy dialog (Tyrese in one of his 3 lines in the movie "That guy is an a$$........hole.....") and CGI that through half the fights it looks like something was thrown into a blender, I couldn't tell you what was worse. Me and my friends were actually laughing through parts of the movie not because they were funny because we couldn't get over how bad it was getting. Who wrote this? And why will they continue to work in hollywood after this? The movie is just one action sequence after another, with half-ass explanations of what is going on. Throwing in characters that you haven't even been introduced to, barely showing the characters from the movie (Bumblebee gets reduced to just being mere transportation by the end of the movie) and giving no meaning or purpose to transformers who should have had larger roles. This is what happens when you feel like you have to have bigger and badder Transformers in a second movie. Finally, how they were able to get those two twin Transformers in the film is beyond me. Those two were about as stereotyping of black people as you can get. It's sad. I loved the first movie. I just felt like I witnessed history now. Like I just watched Ishtar and Waterworld and wondering what I just spend 2 and a half hours doing..
