Free agency is starting on the first, so I wanted to make a list of the top free agents and where you guys think they may land? I didn't put Kobe, because I think it's pretty obvious he's not going anywhere.

Carlos Boozer

Allen Iverson

Hedo Turkoglu

Mike Bibby

Ben Gordon

Brandon Bass

Jason Kidd

Chris Andersen

Antonio McDyess

Rasheed Wallace

Ron Artest

Trevor Ariza

Lamar Odom

David Lee

Nate Robinson

Marcin Gortat

Andre Miller

Grant Hill

Shawn Marion

I'll post my predicitions in a second...

edit: Also... let me know if I missed anybody...

Odom will be gone. Ariza will stay. IMO

I think Hedo goes to Portland.

Thats exactly what I've been thinking, and I think Boozer is most likely a lock for Detroit, and as you can see from my signature I think one of Sheed, or Bass will be in a Magic jersey soon.

Lee & Robinson are RFA's.

I know, but I think it's pretty obvious that the Knicks are only going to bring back one of those 2, and get something back for the other, because they want to be able to afford Lebron in next years offseason.

I personally think Lee will be back, Nate is a goner, and they'll look to sign either Bibby, or Kidd for a one year thing.

That would be the best case scenario for the Knickerbockers, however I think the opposite will happen.

The Lakers traded the 1st round pick to money to re-sign both Odom and Ariza.

I can see both players taking less money to stay with the Lakers.

Would you agree that if they had to pick one to keep, it would be Ariza?

Without question. Ariza defended Carmelo and he shut down Hedo Turkoglu. Not to mention that big 3s this guy hit this year.

As much as I love Odom, he just doesn't show up in every game. If Odom is gone, then look for the Lakers to pursue another player that will take less money to play for a contender.

With the kid from Arizona being drafted, there is no chance Lee is back.

Unfortunately.

They'll resign the midget.

So where does David Lee go then? He may be someone for a lot of teams to look at considering he beat Dwight out at the double-doubles stat. Overall I just think he's a good rebounder, and David Lee doesn't really know the definition of defense though.

I wonder if Boston does anything, because ESPN (The Media), thinks both the Magic, and Cavaliers are far ahead of them now, even with Boston getting Kevin Garnett back. I think I heard somewhere that they're Orlando's competition to get Rasheed Wallace, but I also heard that Rasheed Wallace doesn't want to go to Boston, and that Rasheed is only looking at the Spurs, and Magic.

I think Andre Miller comes to Portland. They need a guy who is a true point that can defend. I'd like Hedo here, but can see Pritchard wanting to still make sure that BRoy has the ball in his hands. I can see that if Hedo came here, the ball would be less in Roys hands. Steve Blake sucks and Bayless is exciting but a total project and turnover machine.

I'd also like to see David Lee traded to the Blazers and we send over Travis Outlaw and some other compensations, money, picks, or an expiring contract. I could see Outlaw working nicely in that system to be honest. Dont' think it'll happen though.

J. Kidd to meet with the Knicks tomorrow, and reports/rumors are Bibby to Portland. Cavs are also interested in Charlie Villanueva.

Can not see any way Kidd would sign with the Knicks.

With David Lee basically officially leaving now, the Knicks and Gortat are probably going to be together soon.

For the Knicks fans that want to know about him, let me just say defensively he is amazing. When Dwight had to take a break, we didn't really lose anything defensively when Gortat came in. He also can shoot about an 8 foot jumper, which is something Dwight can't do.

Good. Knick fans like myself know that we need Defense more than anything at this point, besides a Point Guard. But the key here is if he will be willing to leave Orlando, a Top 3 team in the East, for the Knicks, a rebuilder.

I will miss Lee. I will continue to say drafting the kid from Arizona and letting Lee walk is a HUGE mistake. We shall see in time.

I think the thing with Gortat is he wants to start, and that's something he will be doing with the Knicks.

If Eddie Curry is healthy, he will start even if Gortat is brought in.

BTW, anyone else surprised that Carlos Boozer is exercising his option to remain with Utah for 1 more year? I mean I know its $12.7 million guarenteed, but he probably could've gotten more guarenteed out there, he was arguably the best available player.
