Lil Bit Special Posted July 1, 2009 Author Share Posted July 1, 2009 The Orioles got screwed on Varitek's ab in the 9th... on 3-2 pitch Tek had a check swing that went too far in my opinion, but the home plate umpire didnt call it and took forever for the appeal to 1b.. of course the 1b ump wouldnt end the game on a check swing 30 sec after the play happened. He just continues leaving Johnson in there to pitch, until he eventually realizes Johnson sucks, and brings in Sherill. Dave Trembley makes Girardi look decent.
