Alk
Was I the only one that thought he had already made his decision? Here's hoping that on his first pass attempt his arm travels further than the ball.

Bleed4TheGreen
A hope he goes come back...Just so Jet fans see that Sanchez, a rookie with only 1 year of college experience as a starter can and will actually put up better numbers that the aging 40 year old who has nothing left in the tank to offer

Jbro22
Does anyone else feel like he wasn't even on the Jets last year? When they throw his highlites up on ESPN and see him in the green and white I always think about it.

When they throw his highlites up on ESPN and see him in the green and white I always think about it. More than half of his highlights are of when he was with us last season, so no, I am actually constantly reminded that he was a Jet for one year. And, hey, I'm glad he was. Bleed4TheGreen
Why do I pretty much see nothing but negative comments on Favre with this thread? Aren't the Jets supposed to be a 3-13, 5-11 type of team now that we "lost" Favre as our 40 year old QB? Weird.
Irish Jet
My hatred of Favre has very little to do with his time with the Jets.

124
Brett Favre was nothing but good for us in 2008. Zero regrets. Wish him the best of luck and will be pulling for Minnesota in the NFC if he does indeed come back.

Wish him the best of luck and will be pulling for Minnesota in the NFC if he does indeed come back. It was nice of him to bail on our team. Wasn't it? Yeah, he really cared for this team. The Jets were simply a step in the journey to Minnesota for Favre. Nothing more. So now he can get his "revenge" on an organisation that treated him with nothing but class and respect throughout his career. Arrogant attention seeking ****ing prick that thinks he's bigger than any team he plays on. I'm glad he bailed on us to be honest, want nothing to do with that ****er. I like Favre as a QB...6 years ago. As far as last year? He was nothing more than a game manager and then the last 5 weeks of the year? Wow...He played like a 40 year old man with nothing left in the tank. I'm glad Favre is not a Jet anymore...

I know he retired in March and the Jets moved foward with the selection of Mark Sanchez/release of Favre's contractual rights, but I guess I totally missed when he bailed on us. He retired. Everyone knew it was a 50/50 retirement, until he actually does stay out of the league, it will always be that way. The Jets organization, and you personally, are happy with Sanchez. Move on.
