Boston Red Sox vs. New York Yankees @ Yankee Stadium Series Thread

Recommended Posts

Your $7million dollar offseason acquisition is back in Atlanta eating at The Golden Corral with his family

Arod won a game the other night

Your guy won a 1st class ticket to Atlanta

They only gave Smoltz 5.5 million. How much are the Yankees paynig Kei Igawa? Sometimes, these things don't work out.

He's hitting .296 with 11 home runs. And a bad hip.

A-Rod is hitting .258 with 20 home runs. And a bad hip. Oh, and he's making 20.5 million more than Lowell.

:rl: Blackout opens mouth. inserts his own foot.

What foot inserting was there? Did you see A-rod limping around the basses on that walk off homer?

Hey guys...did you know that Teixeira leans on his back leg while batting and very few other good hitters do the same?

*Repeats 10 times*

That sounds like a good announcing formula there.

Fox.

I'll take McCarver over Morgan and Phillips. Nobody beats a point to death like Joe Morgan.

Do the announcers even realize that the Red Sox are out in the third and Yankees are now at bat?

Lester is dealing tonight.

He's gotten a couple of borderline strike calls.

Now that the Sox have VMart, do they bring Varitek back next year?

Absolutely not. Though, I'm not sure that VMart can play an entire season behind the plate. Plus, he's not the greatest defensive catcher.

Is Kotteras (sp?) still on the roster? If not is VMart catching Wakefield when he comes back?

He's not on the 25 man according to MLB.com.

I guess they'll worry about it when the time comes.

Great job by Andy. Couldn't ask for a better performance.

Would like to score some runs here to get him a win.

Right on cue ARod.

12 of his 21 home runs have either tied a game or given the Yankees the lead.

It's pretty funny that JonE decided to show up after the Yankees take the lead.
