JohnnyHector
Reggie Jackson was a clubhouse cancer The only difference is that the only time Bobby Bonilla ever hit 3 HR's in the same day was during batting practice.
The Troll
I really can't believe that Fernando Tatis is still in the major leagues, so I'll go with him.

NorthCoastJetsFan
OMG, this is a good list from the late 80's on, but you have no idea how much better than the early Mets ALL of the people mentioned in this thread are. Here's a list just off the top of my head. A little research and I could probably get a hundred more. Elio Chacon Al Moran Choo Choo Coleman Larry Burright Tim Harkness Amado Samuel Gary Kolb Hobie Landrith Jesse Gonder Jay Hook Les Rohr And the ultimate, Marv Throneberry. I assure you, NONE of these guys could play a lick. If they were in any other city besides New York with it's National League heritage, they would have been moved, cause no one would have paid for it. talisaynon
sorry for the bump but i completely forgot this: The Mets are still paying for the mistake of signing Bobby Bonilla in 1992
