I figured you'd be pumped up for the dawning of the Greg Paulus era on Saturday. I'm looking forward to the Va Tech game, Miami-Florida St., Georgia-Oklahoma St. and rooting against Notre Dame. I'm looking forward to the Va Tech game, Miami-Florida St., Georgia-Oklahoma St. and rooting against Notre Dame. Meh, I'd love to see Syracuse drastically improve this year but I think we're a few years away. First off, Paulus hasn't played competitive football in 5 years, and I know he was a HS all American but I don't think he can just waltz in and play at an elite level again. Second, we have a brand new head coach, and right now we still lack the talent to really cotend for a bowl game. This year will be a work in progress, I am interested to see how it unfolds. Now Cuse Hoops, I'm pumped all year round for that! What is your college team anyway?

Otter
Very original. I've been a Carolina fan as far back as I can remember. They were the first of my favorite teams to actually win a championship (1993). I definitely jumped on the USC bandwagon when Pete went there. They also have the best looking cheerleaders. Otter
Villanova 27, Temple 24. Big win to start the season! That's a great win for Villanova and an awful loss for Temple. Did they play the game at the Linc?

The guy he punched wobbled to the ground looking like he didnt know where he was for a split second. Too bad that idiot is going to get suspended, if not arrested for assault. CrazyCarl40
How is it too bad? The dickf**k deserves it. Yes he does. And to be honest, the Boise State player deserved it too. You put your hands on an opposing player and taunt them, you have to expect something coming back at you. Both players are idiots.

You put your hands on an opposing player and taunt them, you have to expect something coming back at you. Both players are idiots. Agreed. But the Oregon player has to keep his cool there. He's on the opposing team's field after a loss. He's gotta understand there might be a little taunting, and to keep his cool and walk off the field. No reason for throwing a damn sucker punch [pretty good one btw, guy wilted like a year old flower LOL] and a security escort off the field. uart
That's a great win for Villanova and an awful loss for Temple. Did they play the game at the Linc? Yep. They have a four-year contract to play at the linc. It was technically a Temple home game (all four of them probably are, actually), but I was told that the Villanova student section was about as big as the Temple students.
