Larry Izzo--he still on the team?

Because, seriously, if he is, I haven't heard his name called much. David Tyree is also a ST ace, runs faster, doubles as a WR, is younger, lives local, and makes league minimum. Izzo--he hits hard. That's all. No-brainer here. Sign Tyree. Because if all things are equal, at least he never cashed the enemy's checks.

AS far as I know he's still a Jet.

Yes.

Izzo is on the team because he is a Special Teams ace and a Mike Westhoff favorite from their days together in Miami.

We will never see him on the field on Defense in a Regular Season game. Maybe we can just use one of our 36 Defensive Backs if a Linebacker goes down.

yup, and from a story today Westhoff apparently INSISTED he be on the team. Anybody else have a funny feeling about this kid Cole we got at CB? I think he could be a good one.
