First of all, I love this guys swagger and attitude. This is what Ellis should have been doing for the past several years, however, leadership is not in his DNA I guess. Secondly, Bart wont come out and say it, but he knows that Pace is going to make a HUGE difference when he comes back. We will be upgrading from a 3rd string LB to a very good NFL linebacker. Obviously, he can't say this, but I know he has to be frustrated with Gholston.

How is this him being frustrated with Gholston?

This is just Scott being excited about getting a very good player back.

What ever would give you that inclination?

I disagree with this. Ellis has been leading by example his whole career. You don't have to be vocal to be a leader.

Remember in 2004 when the Jets were in the playoffs? John Abraham was "injured" on on the sidelines, while Ellis was playing hurt and willing the team to victory over the Chargers out there.

Ellis has given his body up to the Jets cause for nearly a decade. I think that he is very bit the leader that Scott is.
