I have a friend that's in that scene and most of the 'talent' are or ex strippers. eh, for the most part they are mutually exclusive. Some strippers get into it so that they can make more money "feature dancing" while some pornstars get into stripping to cash in on their noteriety, while some hookers do porn so they can get 3 to 10x more for being a porn escort. Taking off your clothes and giving a few losers hard ons is a helluva lot better than risking diseases having unpro sex with various partners on camera. i would say arguments can be made on both sides for which is worse. In the midwest where most of these chicks come from, and LA where most of them end up, strippers make no money, but in Vegas or NY a stripper would make bank compared to an adult actress. But the natural tendancy towards apathy and laziness means none of these girls are getting on planes to head to NY and the horrible credit and collection of designer handbags means they need their mope boyfriends or agents to drive their no-car-having @sses around which means no driving to vegas to strip.
