Larz
today was diassappointing, a total step back thank god pace is coming back gholston doesn't have a problem shedding blockers, it seems like he is trying to block the defenders, it's really bizarre to watch
hoping4ASuperBowl
I said he was gonna have his first sack today. I think the Saints players read my post and paid extra attention to Gholston. It'll come soon enough.
Matt39
He did down a punt. But the guy is an epic bust.

jason423
Yeah it was a rough game for him in what was his final audition for a snaps. Maybe they can find a way to now use him as a total situational player.

JiFapono
Jif and Klecko73 to Gholston's rescue in 3 2 1.. He was absolutely horrible today. No question about it. He looked like complete dog **** when he was on the field. And I'm being dead serious, no sarcasm whatsoever, Gholston looked like ****. Irish Jet
No idea what you guys are talking about. He's clearly Trevor Pryce II.
Barton
Gholston saw Sione Pouha force that fumble. And I think he even saw Lowery recover it. If we wouldnt have lost the game I think Gholston would have gotten another game ball.
Maxman
He does a great job of occupying a single blocker. One of these days he should try to shed a block. That would be cool.

Ghost
I would say he needs to get the **** outta town, but he'll probably miss his flight. Thank God we get Calvin Pace back next week. Hopefully Vernon Gholston never sees a snap in his career.

Klecko73isGod
Jif and Klecko73 to Gholston's rescue in 3 2 1.. Why? He had a bad game. Don't confuse us with bitonti. Gholston played like **** today. That being said, he was close to being the reason we lost. He's gonna need to do more and start making the most of his opportunities because starting next Monday when Pace returns, his opportunities will be limited. LionelRichie
gholston continues to steal $, but at least he should be done for the year at this point. it will be interesting to see who plays, gholston or murrell.

penguini 15
You are being generous with 5 tackles. I meant to type 3 but my finger hit the wrong key and i just went with it. 3 is probably reasonable, considering wallace wright and brad smith make all the special teams plays. Obrien2Toon
I saw the same thing. When Thomas was running towards him he was backing away waiting to engage in a block. It was like he was waiting for a blocker instead of attacking the ball. I saw the same thing on more than one play and all through out the season so far. He acts as if his job is to take on the block instead of making the tackle. It's really the oddest thing.
Larz
they have to salvage something out of this guy we found a decent punter he can't play WR we found a decent blocking TE maybe he can help rex shed a few pounds ?

Obrien2Toon
Gholston is a lost cause. The only good that can come out of this is if Tanny, who I think is on his way to be one of the best GMs, learns a lesson and never drafts a workout wonder again.
