BwanaZulia
A little strange, that I called this. I think Sanchez is going to shine in game situations where KC is going to look, like, well... KC. Sanchez will win the day, job and.. hopefully more than a few games. BZ
T0mShane
So how bad did Gholston look? Out of football bad? If he was a UDFA, you would consider making him your fifth LB bad.

T0mShane
Why couldnt have he gotten busted for roids instead? He looks like he dropped 20 pounds, too. Probably 240 right now. Makes him quicker on line at the bank when he's trying to cash his checks.

Green DNA
btw all, I am heading home tonight, back to my real life (which blows = D). Thanks for taking the time to read my thoughts on camp, and here's hoping the Jets do well this season. I hope you took something positive from my "reporting." It was fun. Nice job all week, it was a pleasure to read non-biased recaps (any man love was kept well hidden) which gave us a real flavor for what was taking place. rillo
Did he get hurt? Why did he only touch the ball 3 times? Anyone hear anything? I didn't hear anything, I hope everything is cool. I'm guessing they held him out to give Woodhead a look, because I'll be surprised if he makes the team.
124
1050 still is talking about Steroidball, zero Rex Ryan PC coverage, so no. I was wondering that as well. I kept asking myself why the midget was getting carry after carry and Greene seemed to be in there for only two series. Hopefully he is okay and our coaching staff is just retarded. Its only to pamper his soon to be broken ego. That he actually played in the nfl for a few games since they are sad about his soon to be cutting. Mark it down. Watching Danny and Shonn Greene in the second half made me think I was watching the poor mans' Leon and TJ. Can we pay our starters already?! Matt39
What is this guys potential? I remember pon draft day being pissed we didnt take Glen Coffee(my pick for ROY). He went 9 picks later to the Niners. He looks like JAG from the few things I've seen from him. Hopefully he has a nose for the goal line. The Troll
Well, we haven't seen a great deal of him, for some reason. Hopefully, he'll see extensive action in the last two preseason games. If not, I don't see how he can possibly be a factor this season, at least not early on.
New York Mick
He hurt his ribs in the last game and was hurt during practice early on so I'm guessing that's why we haven't seen a lot of him.

The Troll
What do you think of Coffee? I can't drink it anymore because I have gallstones. Seriously, though, it seems a bit of a reach for you to project him as OROY. Gore would have to get injured for that to happen. Now, Gore DOES always get injured, but he hasn't been seriously hurt since his knee was sodomized twice in college.
BigL
As long as Leon and Jones are here I don't see him getting too many carries this year.

Not sure what that means by calling him a JAG since people here have been calling Thomas Jones a JAG while he led the AFC in rushing and set our franchise season touchdown record. So if all he does is lead the AFC in rushing and break the single season TD record then I'm happy with that.

He's not a bad player, just a replaceable one. He leaves too many yards on the field.

Woodhead has a small chance to make the roster if Greene is healthy but if Greene isn't healthy I'd say he'd make it.

If my RB sets single season TD records and leads the AFC in rushing, I'm not sure how much you can upgrade that. In retrospect, what kind of a year would have made you happy with him? Did he have to lead not just the AFC, but the NFC as well? Did he have to *double* the single season TD record? Give me some tangible goals that he should have reached, not just "oh, he leaves yards" Jones has good vision, he's durable, knows what is going on on the field, doesn't make too many mistakes, etc. He averaged 4.5 per carry. That is what I like to see.
TheShow
jones just isn't a playmaker, he doesn't fall foward, he dances in the backfield to much. I bet Leon gets more carries this year than jones.

We had a great offensive line. That's why he put up the numbers that he did. And because he was second in the AFC in carries. Give Leon 300 carries and see what he does. To me, a guy with the kind of strength and endurance to carry the rock that many times and consistently produce is NOT a JAG.
