8-Patriots (hate to say it but they're coming back)

9-Broncos (great pickup of Brian Dawkins)

10-Ravens (Belichick called their defense "TONED DOWN" in '09)

No way the Jets are one of the five best teams in the NFL.

Here's my less biased opinion:

1/2. Colts/Giants: Neither has faced a decent opponent yet, but they're still unbeaten.

3. Saints: Good defensive performance. Took the spotlight away from Drew Brees.

4. Vikings: It doesn't matter which team you root for. You can't hate Brett Favre.

5. Patriots: If they had beaten the Jets, they're #1 in everyone's power rankings.

6. Ravens: Nothing bad to say about Baltimore. They just got beat by a good team.

7. Broncos: If the Broncos can beat New England, they are legit.

8. 49ers: This team can surprise the whole conference.

9. Jets: Their defense can take them far. Their offense could cost them the playoffs.

10. Falcons: Atlanta is 2-1 with a loss to the 3-1 Patriots. Worthy of being Top 10.

The NFC is looking good this year.

You would say that. As for your "less biased" powrer ranking, it only shows that you are being biased to the Jets past.

Question, how do you have the Colts and Giants first but your excuse for them is that they havent faced a decent opponent, yet you have the Saints #3 and they faced the Jets thats a top 10 team even in your own power ranking? Another thing, how do you have the Patriots #5? You state that if the Pats would have beaten the Jets they would be #1 on everyones ranking but they didnt beat the Jets. So my question is, how is it that the Patriots who lost to the Jets and almost lost to the Bills can be #5 yet you are CONFIDENT that the Jets are not a top 5 team to the point that you even call out Blackout for having them in the top 5? I mean lets be real here, The Jets lost to arguably the best team in football by your own ranking, not by the hands of the Saints, but to our own mistakes, yet the Patriots were handed an ass whooping by the Jets Defense. How is this possible? Your power ranking is PURELY off of the Pats past success, yet we're to believe that its a "Less biased" power ranking??? You've just proved by your own words that it is biased. Your ranking is a mess and makes no sense. Its not a power ranking, its just your opinion...which is cool. But this is worse than the BCS rankings, and that sh!t is horrible every year.

Oh, and to add insult to injury, not only does ESPN disagree with you and has us at #5 but they have us as the best 1 loss team in the NFL and better than the undefeated Broncos. Something that you failed on twice with your "unbiased" power ranking. Oh, and they have us as the 2nd best AFC team behind the Machine the call Peyton Manning. Please get out of the "Same'ol Jets" form. Its a new day!
