Mets fans really arent that bright are they? Why would you root for a division rival that called you "choke artists" over a hometown team? The Yankees and METS have no real rivalry outside of the fact that we both play in NYC. We play 6 games a year and that's it. Yeah root for your division rivals to get another ring, which they will continue to throw in your face. That makes a lot of sense.

Its like the Yankees rooting for the Redsox, or a JETS fan rooting for the Patriots, it just makes no sense

But to be honest I really don't care who wins or loses.

edit also my Dad was a die hard Dodger fan and he instilled my hatred for the Yanks

Was just reading that the Yankees are seriously considering pitching CC in games 1,4,7. AJ in 2,5. Andy in 3,6. That means the entire starting pitching staff would be going on three days rest.

Another option that is being rumored has CC pitching 1,4,7. AJ 2,6. Andy 3. Gaudin 5.

It looks like Philly might pitch Cliff Lee 1,4,7. Pedro 2. Hamels 3. No word on games 5 and 6.

You have a decent amount of a generation that are probably now in their late 20's early thirties that grew up Giants and Mets fans because they were really good in the mid 80's.
