As bad as some of the field calls have been by the umps, the ball-strike calls IMO have been much worse.

Overall, there has not been alot of consistency by the home plate umpires.

Tonight, it seems that the strike zone is alot smaller for Pettite than it is for Hamels.

It doesn't help right now that Andy is not even coming close...

i know whiffer has sucked in the post-season, but Cano is just a total POS, he is just totally useless.

A perhaps idiotic solution would be to be able to get the much better bat of matsui into the lineup: move teix to second and let matsui play first, which is the easiest fielding position on the field.

I think the NL sucks for not having the DH - yes, traditionalists, watching the pitcher hit popups to the infield REALLY makes for strong entertainment - but if they are going to have it, then we need to find a way to get matsui into this game.

Outside of A-rod, it doesnt look like anyone else is going to step up and fill matsui's shoes in the lineup.
