How else can we use JUSTIN MILLER?

in the SEMINOLE. He runs the ball on returns powerfully and with explosion. I always thought he would be the perfect change of pace / wildcat guy on offense. EVERYBODY knows he is awful on defense and has no instincts, but with the ball in his hands, he's hard to stop. We should throw him in there for some runs / reverses / end arounds. DO IT.

Maybe we can just call it the 'Clemson' for his alma mater

We can use him as a dynamic, Pro Bowl Kick Returner because that is what he has been and what he will continue to be. We are lucky as **** that he was not scooped up once the Raiders released him to handle return duties for another franchise.

There are not 5 other return men in the NFL I would prefer over Miller Time.

Just give him the ball, magic will happen. Brad Smith, a QB/RB/WR can run the Seminole if we decide to use it from here on out. He can't catch a cold, so he might as well do something.

If he can do it effectively i don't see why not. Hell if he could rotate in at RT and spell Woody i'd be all for it. I'm basically down for anything that'll help us win, but i just don't see him doing anything on offense.

FYI, he will also play other special teams.

But like all of us, I witnessed how much he sucked as a corner.

But why waste him completely? Just several years ago, when he ferociously ran back kicks, you had to wonder what he could do with the ball 5-10 times per game offensively. Just a though here guys and would absolutely love to see it.

This guy is not gonna suddenly be our Leon Washington. All this guy can do is return kicks and that's all he is going to do.

1. Water guy. He'd get it out there faster than anyone.

2. Jock strap collector. Every team needs one.

3. Flight Crew member. Now they can do awesome basket catches and stuff.

4. Gatorade dumper coordinator. Just in case something awesome happens, you need a go-to guy for it.

5. Fluffer for future Kerry Rhodes films. Just sayin'.

Decoy.

Dress him up as cheerleader who's about to flash the oppossing defense and then right when he gets their attention...bam...Sanchez to Edwards 90 yard bomb.

Other than that, he should be delegated to KR's only.

Kick return and that is it. Nothing else at all.

Exactly.

As to the Seminole, I hope it's gone with Leon.

It simply didn't work. It really didn't work with Brad Smith in 2006 either except for the early going.

It works for the Fins because they have TWO 230lb running backs. It's a unique situation.

Put the Seminole on mothballs and let Miller return kicks. Miller has no business being on the field outside of special teams.

back up safety. give him a shot. he can run and hit.

He also took terrible angles and didn't wrap up. Unless he's learned something over the past year or two he probably shouldn't see the field except on KRs. It's unlikely he's made any great strides considering the Raiders cut him. Not sure if the Jets playing mostly man now would help or hurt him.

Thank you, I agree completely.

We'll see Brad Smith take a couple direct snaps, but it'll be an occasional gimmick. That's more than enough.

As for Miller, there's plenty of reasons the kid's been on the street for so long. He's a kick returner and a warm body with speed on coverage teams. That's it.

Actually, I have to believe that the Raiders cutting him means that they have made another mistake in judging his talents. That boosts my confidence level in Justin by about 6 spots.

Sure. Six spots is about right. Right up to #7 CB on the Jets. Maybe #6, he's probably a push with Ahmad Carroll. Physically he's good so he might actually see the field at some point, but probably not soon. FWIW, the Jets and Titans were both down guys in the defensive backfield, both had him in and neither bit.

Perhaps I should clarify my stance.

I do not doubt that he is probably terrible in the back field. As far as other uses for him, I am sure they exist. The bottom line is....He has the ball in his hands, and he is one dangerous player. We are living in the era of Wildcat, reverses and deceptions. In a reverse for example, you must be able follow the block, outrun the defenders and in many cases, slide through a hole that does not really exists. That is not so different from KR. I would not mind him being tested in other areas, especially not in practice. As per Rex Ryan, they could not emulate the Dolphins WC because they could not possibly reproduce Maimi's quickness. (They said something of the sort during the game). So why not use in other areas? Sometimes the proper practice tools, turn into the most valuable weapons.

How can you say that? The Raiders correctly determined that Randy Moss was washed up.
