That is how the majority of people are, but, that is also the older people. The younger generation of today is more Jets/Yankees and Mets/Giants. Out of all the people I've met and come across in my lifetime, if they are under the age of 25, chances are they are Jets/Yankees or Mets/Giants. I don't know what happened, but something changed. This reminds me of an old story my Dad once told me about how Red Auerbach and Dave Winfield were once seen at a Nets game together, and New York was up in arms for a day or two because they thought the Celtics were trying to steal Dave Winfield. During baseball season it was Yankees fans vs Mets fans and the Mets were good back then. We had to counter with "21 world championships how many do the Mets have?", and during football season we'd lose some Yankees fans who were Giants fans and the JETS were actually pretty good back then.
